A protest was staged outside the SSP office in Shikarpur yesterday, led by the Bukharani community, Jamaat-e-Ulema Islam (JUI), and local citizens. The demonstrators demanded the safe recovery of 2-year-old Abbas Muavia Bukharani, who was abducted from Samadha Road in Lakhi Dar Tehsil, Shikarpur, one week ago [1).
Police officials, including ASP City Manib Ahmed, assured the protesters that the abducted child would be recovered within a week. The police have been in contact with JUI’s district leadership, promising to reunite the child with his family soon ¹.
The protest was also attended by Sajjada Nashin of Khanqah Alia Soomrani Sharif, Maulana Abdullah Mehr, and other leaders, who urged the authorities to take immediate action to rescue the child.
The Bukharani community and JUI leaders have vowed to continue their protest until the child is safely returned to TVhis family.
