Sakrand: Aug. 07 A protest was held in front of the Sakrand Press Club against the registration of a false case against the Central President of the Human Rights Protection Forum (HRPF), Mehboob Chang, by SHO Kot Laloo Ghulam Abbas Kalhori.
Speakers at the protest, including Ali Raza Jamali, Sajjad Maghsi, Ramzan Maghsi, Imam Bakhsh Sial, Manzoor Ali Jatoi, and Ziaur Rehman Khoso, alleged that the SHO had filed a false case against Mehboob Chang to harass him. They said that a month ago, the Central President had raised his voice against the police raid on the village of Rahmatullah Chang, where five women were abducted and mistreated.
The protesters demanded that the false case be withdrawn and the SHO be suspended for his actions. They warned that if their demands were not met, HRPF Pakistan workers would defend their leader.
