“Protection of Life and Property Top Priority Ahead of Monsoon Rains: DC Chaman”

Deputy Commissioner Chaman, Captain (R) Attaullah Abbas, has constituted a team headed by Assistant Commissioner Chaman, Abdul Razzaq Khan, to take pre-emptive measures against possible monsoon rains and flooding. The team includes officials from the Irrigation Department, Railway Department, Revenue Department, and other relevant departments. The DC has directed the team to take concrete steps to ensure the protection of life and property of the citizens. The team has conducted a detailed survey of the city’s drains and nullahs and has identified encroachments on waterways. Notices have been issued to the encroachers to remove all obstructions and structures built on nullahs and drains. The DC has emphasized that the safety of citizens is the top priority and all illegal constructions will be demolished before the monsoon rains.
