LARKANA : The meeting of Sindh Professors and Lecturers Association (SPLA) was held in Larkana under the chairmanship of Professor Dr. Ghulam Sarwar Chana, on the occasion, he said that the officials of the central association violated the code of conduct of SPLA have been, as a result of which their basic membership has been suspended, he clarified that the suspended members have no right to use the name of the association or any office. Violation of, and the swearing-in ceremony of these unconstitutional officials was condemned in Karachi, while in the condemned meeting, Prof. Prof. Abid Sikandar Khokhar and others participated in the meeting, a strong appeal was made to the relevant authorities that a few people who unconstitutionally consider themselves as representatives of the association should not be recognized as representatives of SUPLA. The professors who participated in meeting, further said in meeting, a joint statement that the PEC, which is the highest body of the SPLA, has issued an election schedule to conduct free and transparent elections in accordance with the constitution so that the constitutional representatives of the association are elected and the next leadership will be elected soon by the vote of the teachers,so that will come next.
