Khuzdar, July 30 – Principal Jhalawan Medical College, Professor Dr. Abdul Samad Gichki, has donated hundreds of new and modern books to the college library for the benefit of students. While handing over the books to the heads of departments, Dr. Gichki highlighted the benefits of reading and its far-reaching consequences, saying that reading is a highly beneficial activity that increases knowledge and helps alleviate worries.
He emphasized that books are the best friends and companions of humans, and that reading is essential for the development of the mind. Dr. Gichki expressed concern that the proliferation of technology and mobile phone usage has hindered reading habits, and encouraged students to utilize the library’s resources during their free time.
He stressed that books rule the world, except for savage nations, and that reading illuminates the mind. Dr. Gichki also noted that books are a treasure of knowledge and that reading is necessary for the progress of individuals and society. He urged students to make reading a habit and to take full advantage of the library’s resources.
