Landi Kotal (Aman Ali Shinwari): Murad Hussain Afridi, the Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami in Landi Kotal, held a press conference at the Landi Kotal Press Club, District Khyber, along with his companions GS Irfan Afridi, Member Shah Afridi, Abdul Rauf Shinwari, Mustafa Shinwari, and Amanullah.
Afridi stated that Jamaat-e-Islami supports all the demands of the Kuki Khel tribe and will continue to do so. He questioned the government’s stance on the Tera area, saying that if there are no no-go areas in Pakistan, then why are the affected people of Tera not being allowed to travel to Rajgal?
Afridi also mentioned that commercial activities on the Pak-Afghan highway have been suspended for over 20 days, resulting in daily losses of millions of rupees to the national exchequer. Additionally, Landi Kotal is facing severe financial difficulties, but no seriousness is being shown by the government or any other relevant authorities to address this issue, which is regrettable.
Afridi announced that Jamaat-e-Islami will try to find a peaceful solution to this issue by uniting all political parties. He appealed to the government, security forces, and other authorities to take immediate action to resolve the problems faced by the people of Landi Kotal.
