Peshawar:Tribal union of Journalists strongly condemn the grenade attack on the house of Yasir Shah at Kohat and consider it negligence of Kp police for not providing protection to Yasir Shah.Qazi Fazal Ullah president tribal union of Journalists warned that if the investigation of the incident is not completed within a month, we will protest against the non prosecution.These views were expressed by the Chairman of Tribal Union of Journalists Qazi Fazl ullah while addressing the journalists on the occasion of the visit to Kohat Press Club.He said that on March 21, 2023, journalist Yasir Shah’s house was attacked with grenades and firing in Kohat city. He said that Yasir Shah had been receiving threats from a long time, a formal report was filed in the concerned police station, but no action was taken for protection.He said that more than two months have passed since the incident, but police and other investigative agencies have not completed their investigation.We strongly condemn the negligence of the concerned institutions and demand that the investigation into the attack on the house of journalist Yasir Shah, a member of Kohat Press, be completed within a month. President of Kohat Press Club Noor Mohammad and Yasir Shah are also spoke on same occasions.
