“Islamabad, July 11, 2024: President Asif Ali Zardari received Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Safraz Ahmed Bugti at the Presidential Palace. The Chief Minister briefed the President on the overall situation in the province, including the law and order situation and developmental projects aimed at public welfare. The President emphasized the importance of expeditiously completing these projects to ensure the province’s development and prosperity. He stressed the need for federal cooperation in completing the Kachhi Canal project to address the province’s water needs, promote agriculture, and ensure food security.
