SHIKARPUR: The law and order situation of District Shikarpur is going to be worst day by day which resulted record increase in heinous offences including Murders, kidnapping for ransom, road robberies, dacoities, street crimes etc due to poor performance of District Police and law enforcement Agencies.
One World Health Organization-WHO Employee (Union Council Polio Officer-UCPO) of UC Pir Bux Shujrah working on Polio Campaign identified as Naeem Ahmed Bappar was kidnapped from the jurisdiction of Naparkot Police Station on Wednesday evening.
According to initial reports, the Polio Team was on their way from Field after completing their work when some group of armed men stopped them and took away one Union Council Polio Officer-UCPO Naeem Ahmed Bappar with them on gun point towards Katcha area of Khanpur while leaving the other team staff members there.
The polio team depicted that their Polio Officer was kidnapped in revenge of some arrested women of Kidnappers who were caught by Shikarpur Police.
While getting the sad news of Kidnapping of Polio Officer Naeem Bappar, the relatives blocked the Indus Highway Road near Karampur Laaro in protest against the kidnapping of their beloved UCPO Naeem Bappar.
The rest of polio team and relatives said that the kidnappers belonging to Naseerani Community who are demanding for release of their arrested women of they wanted back safely their kidnapped UCPO Naeem Ahmed Bappar at earliest.
The kidnapped Naeem Ahmed Bappar is resident of village Mehroo near to Karampur who was working with World Health Organization-WHO as a Polio Officer.
The vehicular traffic remained suspended from both the sides during their protest demonstration for safe recovery of kidnapped Polio Officer.
The road was reopened for vehicular traffic after few hours on the assurance of SSP Shikarpur Dr. Muhammad Imran Khan and newly elected MNA of Shikarpur Meer Shabeer Khan Bijarani who reached there for having dialogue with the angry protesters.
The angry relatives/protesters threatened to drive a serious protest and strive hard if their beloved was not released safely from the clutches of the kidnappers at earliest.
