Sukkur, August 6: Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Sukkur, Syed Peer Muhammad Shah, has taken swift action against a police official after a viral video showed criminals at the Kacho Bhundi Police Pick-up.
DIG Sukkur has suspended SHO Akbar Ali Malik and ordered an inquiry into the incident. The DIG has also issued clear instructions to all SHOs in Sukkur Range, stating that any officers or personnel found guilty of such criminal negligence will not be tolerated and have no place in the police department.
The DIG reiterated his commitment to establishing peace and security in Ghotki district, honoring the sacrifices of police martyrs, and ensuring that their efforts are not in vain.
This action comes as part of the police department’s efforts to maintain discipline and ensure accountability within its ranks.
