SWAT:- District Police Officer (DPO) Swat, Dr. Zahidullah Khan, highlighted the crucial role of women can play in resolving women’s issues and promoting peaceful conflict resolution.

Speaking at a one-day training workshop on leadership and Dispute Resolution Council (DRC) roles, he emphasized the need for women’s participation in decision-making to create a prosperous society.

The workshop was attended by 21 women from various backgrounds, including university students, aimed to empower women to take on leadership roles and resolve local conflicts through DRCs.

Speakers noted that women possess leadership skills, but often lack opportunities to exercise them. 11 women expressed interest in joining the DRC, receiving encouragement from the DPO and other officials.

The DPO distributed training certificates to the participants, expressing hope that women will play a key role in resolving conflicts in the area.
