Kandhkot, November 29. In a daring operation, the police in Kandhkot successfully foiled a kidnapping attempt and rescued 16 members of a family, including three women, four men, and nine children.
According to police sources, the family, hailing from Sadiqueabad, Punjab, was traveling to Kashmore when they were intercepted by kidnappers. However, thanks to timely technical information, the police were able to rescue the family members from the limits of Budani police station.
The rescued individuals include Abdul Majid, Abdul Karim, Ejaz Ali, Muhammad Sadique, Musmat Pathani, Musmat Parveen, Musmat Hussain, Shamoon, Kanwal, and others. The police have handed over the rescued family members to their heirs safely.
In the operation, five suspected kidnappers were arrested, and arms were recovered from their possession, police sources added.
