PM visits Quetta; gets warm welcome

QUETTA: The Prime Minister, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif paid a whirlwind visit to the provincial capital, Quetta on Monday.
Upon his arrival, the Prime Minister was welcomed by Governor, Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail, Chief Minister, Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti, provincial ministers, members of the assembly besides other provincial high ups including Chief Secretary, Shakeel Qadir Khan and Inspector General of Police, Abdul Khaliq Sheikh.
The Federal Ministers Jam Kamal Khan, Azam Nazir Tarar, Sardar Awais Khan Leghari, Attaullah Tarar and Minister of State, Ali Pervez Malik.
Soon after his arrival, the Prime Minister drove to the Governor House where he had separate meetings with the Governor and the Chief Minister Balochistan.
He was briefed about the latest situation of province and the ongoing development process.
He also participated in the ceremony of signing of agreement between the provincial and federal governments for solarization of around 28,000 agricultural tube wells in the province.
