Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has expressed deep sorrow over the martyrdom of Pakistani citizens in a bus accident near Yazd, Iran. The Prime Minister offered condolences to the families of the martyrs and prayed for the highest ranks of the deceased.
The Prime Minister has directed the Pakistani Embassy in Iran to maintain close contact with the Iranian government to expedite assistance to the families of the martyrs and medical aid to the injured. He also directed the embassy to expedite the process of repatriating the bodies of the martyrs to Pakistan.
The Prime Minister’s Office has assured that all possible assistance will be provided to the affected families.
