Phullen Bloch, the newly elected Chairman of the Standing Committee for Information and Broadcasting, and Central Joint Secretary of the National Party, visited the Quetta centers of Pakistan Television, Radio Pakistan, and APP (Associated Press of Pakistan) after his election. He met with the heads and staff of the relevant institutions to discuss their issues and problems.
Accompanying him were Dr. Ismail Baloch, Central Deputy President of the National Party, Ali Ahmed Langove, Provincial Information Secretary, Jaleel Langove, Provincial Law Secretary, Advocate Usman Baloch, and Kaleem Baloch.
The General Manager of PTV and other staff members, including renowned actor Ayub Khosa, praised the performance of PTV Quetta center despite limited resources. They mentioned that despite the shortage of staff, communication issues, and lack of modern technology, PTV Quetta center is still performing well.
However, they expressed difficulties in producing dramas and cultural and entertainment programs due to a lack of funds. Chairman Phullen Bloch said that this is his first visit to Quetta institutions after his election and he will work to address the issues faced by the media organizations.
