PEOPLE’S PARTY CRACKS DOWN ON DISSENT

(Independent Report)

Islamabad,July 27. In a move to quell dissent within the party, the People’s Party has issued show-cause notices to its Balochistan President, Chngiz Jamali, and General Secretary, Rozi Khan Kakkhar.

According to sources, the notices were issued on the directives of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto, following a recent press conference in Quetta where party officials spoke out against the party leadership.

The officials have been given a 10-day deadline to respond to the notice, which seeks an explanation for their actions.

It is worth noting that, according to party rules, only the Chairman has the authority to expel, remove, or suspend membership.

The party has refused to comment on future action against the dissenting voices, fueling speculation about potential expulsions or suspensions.

This development comes at a time when the party is gearing up for upcoming elections, and internal divisions could potentially impact its performance at the polls.
