Peoples’ cooperation must to overcome terrorism in Balochistan, says IGP

QUETTA: The Inspector General of Police, Balochistan, Abdul Khaliq Sheikh has stated that the cooperation of general public is very necessary to overcome terrorism in the province.
However, the police force has to serve them (general public) to gain their cooperation.
The IGP was speaking on occasion of his visit to Loralai on Saturday.
Upon his arrival, the IGP was welcomed by the DIG police Loralai Range, Nazeer Ahmed Kurd, SSP Muhammad Zafar and other officers.
The IGP got inaugurated the new Sadar police station from the son of martyr ATF personnel, Ashraf Tareen.
He also inspected the new police station.
Later, the IGP visited Allah Nawaz Shaheed Police Line Loralai.
Meanwhile, he also visited the DIG police office besides having meeting with the tribal elders.
The tribal elders he met were included: former Governor Sardar Gul Muhammad Khan Jogezai, Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Nasar, Sardar Fateh khan Musakhail, Sardar Yahya Luni, Sardar Naseebullah Utmankhail, besides others.
Speaking on the occasion, IGP said that the police has played an important role in maintaining law and order situation in the province by making certain changes in different times.
He said that number of terrorism acts were increased because of the foreign interference in the province.
Meanwhile, the IGP met the police personnel who were injured in different incidents on various occasions.
He also gave them the cash amount to the injured police personnel.
