SWAT :- Residents of Swat are advocating for the appointment of Sheharyar Ameerzeb as the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. They assert that Ameerzeb, a prominent member of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and former NA-3 candidate, is well-equipped to address the region’s challenges. With widespread support across various sectors of society, they highlight his extensive background and qualifications as fitting for the governorship. Ameerzeb’s familial ties to key positions in the past, including his uncle’s governorship of KP and Balochistan, as well as his lineage tracing back to former President Ayub Khan and Swat’s ruler Miangul Abdul Haq Jahanzeb, further bolster their endorsement.
Engineer Haider Ali Khan underscores Ameerzeb’s suitability for the role, emphasizing his capacity to serve KP’s populace and address pressing issues such as education and tribal affairs.
Social activist Daud Khan expresses confidence in Ameerzeb’s leadership to navigate political and economic uncertainties, particularly regarding impending tax legislation in tribal regions. He urges PPP leadership to heed the public’s call for Ameerzeb’s nomination, emphasizing his potential to drive reforms and improve governmental performance at the grassroots level.
Overall, there is a resounding demand from residents of Swat and the wider Malakand division for Ameerzeb’s immediate nomination as KP’s Governor by both provincial and central PPP leadership.
