Lahore: 06 The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a massive Rs 12.8 billion for the upgradation of National Bank Stadium Karachi and Rawalpindi Stadium, as well as the development of domestic cricket. The decision was made in the 72nd meeting of the PCB’s Board of Governors, chaired by Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi.
The meeting also approved the budget for the financial year 2024-25, with a focus on improving domestic cricket infrastructure and increasing funds for women’s cricket. The PCB will also upgrade 12 grounds across Pakistan and provide funds for the maintenance of 100 grounds nationwide.
The meeting was attended by prominent figures, including Secretary Board and Chief Operating Officer PCB Salman Naseer, Chief Financial Officer Javed Murtaza, and members of the Board of Governors.
