Pashtun culture day celebrated in style in Quetta, different other parts of Balochistan

QUETTA: The Pashtun Culture Day was celebrated in style in Quetta and different other parts of Balochistan province on Monday.
Different colourful and cultural programmes and activities were organized to mark the celebration of Pashtun Culture Day.
These events were organized by different political parties and independent groups marking the celebrations on the Culture Day.
The Pashtun National Network organized the colourful Pashtun Culture day event at the Darbar Marriage Hall where the Governor Balochistan, Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail was the chief guest.
Clad in the beautiful typical Pashtun attire, Jaffar Mandokhail participated in different programme.
Similarly, the Pashtun Culture Day programmes were also arranged at Sadiq Shaheed football ground and Quetta Metropolitan Corporation lawn the same day.
The Pashtun Culture Day programme was arranged by Pashtunkhaw Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) at Sadiq Shaheed football ground while at QMC lawn, the event was organized by Pashtunkhaw National Awami Party (PkNAP).
A large number of people including the workers of different parties participated in the Culture Day events. While the Chairman PkMAP, Mehmood Khan Achakzai participated in the programme organized by his party, the Chairman PkNAP, Khushhal Khan Kakar made his presence at the event arranged by his party.
Different cultural and books stalls were set up at Darbar marriage hall, Sadiq Shaheed ground and QMC lawn.
Meanwhile, an art exhibition marking the Day was also held at the Press Club. The Pashtun culture was depicted in the art exhibition.
