PAKISTAN TO OBSERVE BLACK DAY ON OCTOBER 27, REAFFIRMING SUPPORT FOR KASHMIRIS

Federal Minister for Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan Affairs, Engineer Amir Muqam, chaired a special review meeting to prepare for the upcoming Black Day on October 27. Muqam directed all relevant departments to work together to observe the day effectively, reaffirming Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Kashmiri people’s right to self-determination ¹.

Addressing the meeting, Muqam emphasized that Kashmir holds a special place in the hearts of Pakistanis. On October 27, Pakistan will convey a clear message to the world that India’s occupation of Kashmir is unacceptable and has been rejected by the Kashmiri people ².

Pakistan remains committed to supporting its Kashmiri brethren in their peaceful struggle for self-determination, in line with United Nations Security Council resolutions ³ ⁴. The country will continue to provide political, moral, and diplomatic support to Kashmiris until they achieve their inalienable right to self-determination ⁵.

This year’s Black Day observance aims to raise awareness about the lingering Kashmir dispute and highlight the sacrifices made by Kashmiris in their quest for freedom.
