In a significant development for the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Nazriati Group has announced its decision to dissolve and join forces with the PML-N. This move is expected to strengthen the party’s presence in the region.
The announcement was made during a meeting between Federal Minister and PML-N Khyber Pakhtunkhwa President Engr. Amir Muqam and Nazriati Group leaders at the residence of Ishtiaq Chattan on Wednesday. The Nazriati Group leaders expressed full confidence in the leadership of PML-N President Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, Engr. Amir Muqam, and Murtaza Javed Abbasi.
Prominent Nazriati Group leaders, including Abdul Subhan Khan, Malik Imran, Arbab Ghulam Haider Khan, and Sardar Abdur Rashid, pledged their support to Engr. Amir Muqam and vowed to work together to strengthen the party.
Engr. Amir Muqam welcomed the decision, terming it “better late than never.” He reiterated his commitment to working under the dynamic leadership of Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
This development is seen as a major boost for the PML-N in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where the party has been working to expand its influence ¹.
