PAKISTAN FACES THREAT FROM INTERNAL ENEMIES, NOT EXTERNAL ONES – MAHMOOD KHAN ACHAKZAI

Independent Report.
Islamabad:Aug. 14.Mahmoud Khan Achakzai, leader of the opposition alliance Tehreek Tahafuz-e-Ain Pakistan, said that Pakistan faces a threat from internal enemies, not external ones.

Addressing a press conference alongside Allama Raja Nasir Abbas in Islamabad, Achakzai said that the conference was called to discuss the significance of August 14th, but due to the busy schedules of leaders in different cities, it couldn’t be held.

He emphasized that freedom is the greatest blessing in human life, and they demand the right to rule, but this right has not been given to the people at the grassroots level.

Achakzai questioned why the British were expelled, saying that if ruling means only building roads and drains, the British were doing a good job. He stated that Pakistan’s internal enemies are the real threat, not external ones, and that there are people within Pakistan who are undermining the country.

Achakzai also said that Pakistan, the Constitution, and Parliament are their top priorities. He welcomed the inclusion of Sindh’s parties in the Tehreek Tahafuz-e-Ain Pakistan movement and acknowledged that corruption has also crept into their own ranks and parties.
