Ours’ ultimate goal is to establish sustainable peace in Balochistan, says caretaker Minister Home

QUETTA: The caretaker Provincial Minister for Home, Captain (Retd) Mir Muhammad Zubair Jamali has stated that the provincial government has taken certain steps for increasing capacity of police force as ours’ ultimate goal is to establish sustainable peace in the province.
He said that the Balochistan police is playing the lead role in fight against terrorism and the ATF personals have the capacity and capability to fight against terrorists.
The restoration of peace has been our topmost priority from the day one.
The Minister Home was addressing the passing out parade of 15ht batch of Anti Terrorist Force (ATF) at the ATF training school here on Thursday.
The Provincial Minister for Women Development, Ms. Shahina Khan, Inspector General of Police, Abdul Khaliq Sheikh, Commandant of ATF School, Colonel (Retd) Asad Farooq, Additional IGP, Jawad Ahmed Dogar and other high ups were present at the passing out.
In all 300 jawans of ATF passed out at the passing out after completion of basic anti-terrorist training at the ATF school.
He congratulated the ATF jawans on successful completion of their training and hoped that they would discharge their professional duties in befitting manner after the training.
He said that the Balochistan police has turned into a professional force in the province, the credit of which goes to the officers.
Mir Zubair Jamali said that our jawans have rendered sacrifice of their lives to protect the life and property of masses and establish peace in the province.
The Minister Home also said that the Balochistan police has created history of bravery in the war against terrorism.
He assured that the necessary resources would be provided to the force enabling it to combat terrorism and other law and order issue in the province.
Earlier, Inspector General of Police, Abdul Khaliq Sheikh and Commandant ATF Training school also addressed the passing out parade.
The Commandant informed that the jawans were imparted training to combat the terrorists in the jungles and cities during the training period.
He also informed that a total of 3198 jawans have so far been imparted training of anti-terrorism at the ATF training school.
The ATF jawans who passed out presented salute to the chief guest at the ceremony.
Different professional skills were also demonstrated by the ATF jawans on the occasion.
