Organized and intensive operations of Nowshera Police against anti-social elements in the month of August

Peshawar : Nowshera Police, under the leadership of District Police Officer Nowshera Nasir Mehmood, has achieved great success in the month of August 2023 by carrying out thorough and organized operations against the people who caused disturbance in the society.During the search and strike operations.154 criminals wanted in murder, attempted murder and other serious cases were arrested. 120.745 kilograms of hashish, 20.719 kilograms of ice were arrested while 183 drug dealers were arrested while carrying out operations against drug dealers and smugglers who undermine the foundations of the young generation and society. 7.622 grams of heroin was recovered.During the operation against the criminals, 14 AK-47 guns, 215 pistols and 13 rifles were recovered and cases were registered. 101 mobile phones were recovered and handed over to the original owners after fulfilling the legal requirements.Legal action was taken against 49 people who were living illegally.15 accused who fired in the air were arrested. District Police officer Nasir Mehmood said , that the protection of life and property of the people is one of the primary duties of the police. All available resources will be utilized to make possible the establishment of peace and harmony.
