One girl child expires, three others injured in Quetta sui gas leakage blast

QUETTA: One girl child was dead and three others including a female were injured in an explosion caused due to the gas leakage in Jinnah Town area of Quetta on Thursday.
According to the police, the blast was occurred on the top floor of a residential plaza in Jinnah Town apparently due to the leakage of sui gas.
As a result of the powerful blast, a minor girl died and three other persons including a female were injured.
The initial reports suggested that two persons were injured due to the explosion in the plaza while the girl and female die as the debris of plaza fell in the jhuggi located just adjacent to the wall of plaza.
The body of minor girl and injured persons were removed to the civil Sandeman Provincial Hospital.
The injured were admitted in the Trauma center and being provided necessary medical assistance, the spokesman of Sandeman Hospital informed.
Meanwhile, the area police rushed towards the spot and started investigation into the blast.
As per the initial investigations and evidences, the blast was caused due to the leakage of sui gas in the plaza. However, further investigations are in progress.
