ONE-DAY SEMINAR ON “MOTHER’S MILK” ORGANIZED BY SAVE THE CHILDREN BALOCHISTAN

A one-day seminar on “Mother’s Milk” was organized by Save the Children Balochistan, in collaboration with WFP, which was attended by Assistant Commissioner Kharan, Rizwan Qadir, Incharge RHC Dr. Qazi Muhammad Yusuf, Coordinator Benazir Income Support Program, Ihteramullah Kibdani, and other officials.

The speakers emphasized that mother’s milk is the fundamental right of every child, and it is essential to provide a clean environment for breastfeeding every two hours. They highlighted that mother’s milk contains natural powers to fight diseases and is a complete food for newborns, containing all vitamins, iron, protein, and minerals.

The speakers stressed that mothers should breastfeed their children for at least two years, as it is a gift from Allah and essential for the child’s physical growth. The seminar aimed to raise awareness about the importance of breastfeeding and its benefits for children’s health.
