ISLAMABAD – Chairman of Pakistan Ulama Council and Special Representative of Prime Minister for Interfaith Harmony and Middle East Affairs, Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi led Istisqa prayer in Lahore today.On this occasion, Tahir Ashrafi prayed to his Lord for forgiveness of sins and forgiveness during the public gathering today in Lahore’s Jamia Masjid.
He said in one of his statements that on the special instructions and appeal of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Anwar Ul Haq Kakar, Istisqa prayers have been offered across the country today.
He led Istisqa Namaz at Jamia Masjid Bahria Town Lahore to get rid of the ongoing drought and diseases across the country and prayed for rain and the end of drought in the country.
He appealed to the people to pray in every prayer that Allah may bless us with rain of mercy and forgive our sins.
