On the orders of the Ombudsman Punjab Major Azam Suleman Khan (R), the dues of 25 lakh 38 thousand 332 rupees were paid to the complainant.
The complainant complained to this office that he purchased 5 Marla residential and 4 Marla commercial plots in Zeitun City Housing Society on 10-year installments, after which the society demanded installments from the petitioner in terms of three years instead of ten years. Upon which the petitioner protested, the society informed the petitioner of a five-year installment plan, which the petitioner did not accept.
When he was not heard after several requests and attempts, the complainant demanded the return of the deposited amount, upon which the society agreed to deduct ten percent and return the remaining amount.
The next day when the complainant went to the society with all the papers the society people said that the residential plot will be refunded but the commercial plot will not be refunded. The complainant has been suffering from this same problem for two years. After taking action the Ombudsman Punjab order to give relief to the complainant on urgent basis
and, the Zeitun City Housing Society paid the amount of Rs. 6 lakh 35 thousand for the residential plot area of five Marla’s to the complainant, while the amount of Rs. 19 lakh 3 thousand 332 for the commercial plot area of four Marla’s, which totals to Rs. 25 lakh 38 thousand 332.
