NP abstains from process of voting for election of CM in Balochistan Assembly

QUETTA: The National Party abstained from the process of election of Chief Minister Balochistan in the provincial assembly here on Saturday.
Although all four members of assembly belonging to NP including its President, Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch participated in the session, however, they didn’t cast votes in favour or against the Chief Minister.
Similarly, the members of provincial assembly belonging to Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) boycotted the process of election and didn’t turn up to cast votes for the election of Chief Minister.
It may be mentioned here that there are 12 seats of JUI-F and four seats are of NP in the provincial assembly.
