Larkana, August 29,. A notorious dacoit, Dilbar Bhalkani, was killed in a police encounter in Larkana, while three of his accomplices were injured. The encounter was led by DIGP Larkana Nasser Aftab, who has been instrumental in leading the Range Police to success.
According to sources, Dilbar Bhalkani was wanted by police in multiple cases of kidnapping for ransom, police encounters, looting, dacoity, and murder. A G3 rifle was recovered from his possession.
The police have commended the officers and personnel who participated in the encounter, saying that their bravery and professionalism led to the success of the operation.
This encounter is seen as a major breakthrough in the efforts to curb crime in the region, and the police are hopeful that it will lead to a significant reduction in criminal activity.
