The spokesperson for the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Forestry Department has clarified that no tourist company or individual has been allotted land in the Neelum Valley for tourism purposes. He stated that false and baseless reports are being spread on social media regarding the allocation of land.

The Forestry Department has not transferred any state land to any tourism company for tourism purposes this year. In 2022, 30 kanals of state land were transferred to defense institutions for public interest and national defense purposes, and in exchange, the Revenue Department gave 30 kanals of land to the Forestry Department. However, no land has been allotted to anyone for tourism purposes this year.

The spokesperson termed the propaganda in this regard as baseless and contrary to facts.
