The Irrigation Department of Balochistan has warned that no one will be allowed to tamper with or steal water, or illegally block the flow of water. The department will not tolerate any damage to human life, agricultural land, or canals due to water theft or tampering.
Acting on the instructions of Provincial Minister for Irrigation Mir Sadique Umrani and Provincial Secretary Irrigation Hafiz Abdul Majid, the Irrigation Department staff is utilizing all available resources to prevent water theft. Strict action has been initiated against anti-social elements involved in water theft.
An FIR has been registered in Sahbatpur against individuals involved in illegal blocking of water flow and water theft. Similarly, an FIR has been registered at Thana Muhammad Ali Shaheed against Sanullah son of Hafiz Ibtibar, Yasir Khan son of Abdul Latif, Samiullah son of Sanullah, Muhammad Hamza Khosa, and others.
