No political pressure acceptable at all; all illegal immigrants have to go, declares Jan Achakzai

QUETTA: The caretaker Provincial Minister for Information, Jan Achakzai has firmly stated that pressure of political parties is not acceptable regarding repatriation of the illegal immigrants whatsoever, and they (illegal immigrants) have to leave the country.
Talking to the media persons here on Saturday, the Minister Information said that the process of expulsion of the illegal immigrants is continued uninterrupted in the province as elsewhere in the country.
He informed that more than 110,000 immigrants have so far repatriated to their homeland from Balochistan via Chaman border.
He said that we have targeted to repatriate all immigrants to their country by the end of January 2024.
The immigrants belonging to Iran, Iraq, Bangladesh, Nigeria and other communities are also being expelled.
He said that NADRA teams are working on it, and 100,000 suspected National Identity Cards have been blocked so far.
He said that several political parties are using the matter of repatriation of illegal immigrants as their narrative politically exploiting the situation.
He also regretfully pointed out that some political parties are also opposing the national drive against illegal immigrants.
He made it clear once again that the campaign is right in our national interest.
He said that we are facing shortage of the resources in the campaign against illegal immigrants.
He stressed that we need resources to continue the process of repatriation of the illegal immigrants in the province.
