NHMP TRAINING COLLEGE UPGRADED: INSPECTOR GENERAL EMPHASIZES DISCIPLINED TRAINING AND PROFESSIONAL CAPACITY BUILDING

Inspector General of National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP), Salman Choudhry, underscored the importance of disciplined training and professional capacity building during the inauguration ceremony of new facilities at the NHMP Training College in Sheikhupura ¹. The event marked the opening of staff hostels, mess halls, a library, and an IT lab, demonstrating NHMP’s commitment to enhancing the skills and knowledge of its personnel.
Senior officers, including Additional IG Ali Ahmed Sabir Kayani, Commandant Training College DIG Syed Fareed Ali, DIG Masroor Alam Kolachi, and Deputy Commandant Imdad Ullah Shahid, attended the ceremony, showcasing the organization’s dedication to professional development.
Choudhry stressed that well-trained personnel are crucial to the Motorway Police’s mission of promoting road safety on Pakistan’s highways. By investing in capacity building, NHMP aims to improve its services, ensuring a safer driving environment for all road users ²[3).
