A new labor room has been inaugurated at the Basic Health Unit (BHU) Amir Muhammad in Barkhan district, marking a significant milestone in improving maternal and child healthcare services ¹. This state-of-the-art facility, established by PPHI Balochistan, aims to provide free medical services to the local community, especially pregnant women and newborns.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Deputy Commissioner Barkhan Wagar Khurshid Alam, Wing Commander Meywand Rifles Barkhan Colonel Amer Bashir, and other distinguished guests, including DHO Barkhan Dr. Majid Amin, SP Barkhan Arshad Gola, and local residents.
This new center will provide comprehensive healthcare services, including prenatal care, delivery services, and postnatal care, all under one roof. The community will now have access to quality healthcare facilities right at their doorstep.
