New financial year’s budget public friendly & balance, prepared in view of needs of all segments: Nausherwan

QUETTA: The Provincial Minister for Finance, Mines and Mineral Development, Mir Shoaib Nausherwani has stated that the next financial year’s budget of the province is public friendly and balance, which has been prepared keeping in view of the requirements and issues of all segments of the society.
In a statement issued here on Sunday, the Provincial Minister said that special attention has been given to education and health sectors in the budget.
In addition to this, the provincial government has allocated Rs. 10 billion in the budget for converting the agricultural tube wells on solar energy. He said that it was the long-standing demand of the zamindars of the province which has been resolved amicably.
The Minister Finance said that the government has presented surplus budget for the first time.
He also said that every possible efforts were made to allocate maximum funds for the development schemes, ensure effective distribution of the resources and minimize the non-development expenditures under the leadership of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti.
This would cast positive impacts on the population of province besides proving welcoming for welfare of the people.
He also mentioned that we have raised the salaries and pensions of the government employees on pattern of the federal government and included the development schemes of public welfare in the new PSDP. The implementation on development projects would be started soon, he added.
The Minister Finance congratulated and appreciated the Chief Secretary, Secretary Finance and their whole team for their sincere endeavours and dedication in preparation of the budget.
He also thanked all members of the assembly on approval of the budget.
