A seminar on profitable cultivation of sugarcane was organized by FFC in which Additional Director Agriculture Extension, Ramzan Channa participated as a chief guest. GM Cane of Habib Sugar Mill, Hasnain Khan Jafri, political social and landlady Mukhtiar Nazo wadderi participated as guests and highlighted the problems of the farmers.
Deputy Manager FFC S.B.A Muhammad Ali Anis Goraya gave a detailed introduction to the farmers about Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited and highlighted the marketing method of FFC. He informed the farmers about the recognition sticker on FFC fertilizers so that quality fertilizers can be provided in their fields.
Addressing the audience, Head of Farm Advisory Center Hyderabad, Abdul Hameed Lodhi described agriculture as the backbone of the country’s economy and informed the audience about the agricultural services of FFC. He further said that the use of micro-components with DAP will lead to an increase in production. On this occasion, GM of Habib Sugar Mill Cane Hasnain Khan Jafri highlighted the important principles to the farmers to get the best sugarcane production.
Agri. Service Officer Nawabshah, Ali Raza gave detailed information about the balanced use of fertilizers to get the best yield of sugarcane and timely cultivation by choosing better fertilizers and balanced use of phosphoric fertilizers along with reducing costs to the farmers. He also briefed about the different ways to increase production.
More than 120 progressive farmers of the area participated in the seminar and appreciated the efforts made by FFC for better crop production. At the end of the program, the participants also asked many questions which were satisfactorily answered.
