National Party’s Mir Kabir Ahmed Muhammad Shahi Demands Justice for Missing Student Musawir Kakar

Quetta. Nov. 20 independent Report.
In a powerful address at a protest rally in Quetta, National Party’s Central Secretary General Mir Kabir Ahmed Muhammad Shahi slammed the government for its failure to protect citizens, particularly children. Despite billions spent on Safe City projects, innocent children like Musawir Kakar are still being abducted in broad daylight [1).

Shahi criticized the composition of the Balochistan Assembly, saying it’s filled with individuals who only serve their own interests and those of their masters, rather than the people. He emphasized that the parliament’s primary role is to ensure the rule of law, protect citizens, and legislate for their benefit.

“The entire region, from Zhob to Gawadar and Quetta to Dera Ghazi, is plagued by insecurity, corruption, and anti-people actions,” Shahi said. “Our lives, property, and dignity are not safe.”

He also referenced a Balochi proverb, “Wherever fire burns, the earth knows its heat.” Shahi highlighted the pain of mothers whose children have been forcibly disappeared, citing Musawir Kakar’s mother as an example.

The protest rally demanded the safe recovery of Musawir Kakar and an end to enforced disappearances in Balochistan.
