The National Assembly has prohibited mobile video recording and photography in the press gallery during today’s session, as per Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq’s directives.
All parliamentary reporters are requested to refrain from capturing mobile footage or videos from the press gallery. Security personnel will be present to ensure compliance. Failure to adhere to this instruction will result in confiscation of mobile devices.
The National Assembly Media Directorate appreciates the cooperation of parliamentary reporters in this matter and looks forward to their continued support.
This decision comes after observed violations of media SOPs within Parliament House, including unauthorized recording and photography in corridors and offices ¹.
