Quetta. Sept. 20

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Balochistan office welcomed a group of students and faculty members from University Law College Quetta on September 20, 2024 ¹. This visit aligns with NAB’s focus on transparency and accountability, particularly in high-profile corruption cases and preventive measures to eradicate corruption.

During the visit, the students were warmly received by the Additional Director (A&P) and given a comprehensive tour of the bureau’s various wings. They gained insightful overviews of NAB’s operations and later participated in an interactive session conducted by Mr. Imran Majeed, Additional Director.
Mr. Majeed explained NAB’s three-pronged strategy: awareness, prevention, and enforcement. He also briefed the students on key sections of the National Accountability Ordinance (NAO) 1999 and its amendments [1).
This initiative demonstrates NAB’s commitment to educating future leaders about the importance of accountability and transparency in governance.
NAB’s focus on high-profile corruption cases and preventive measures aims to:

– _Enhance awareness_ about the consequences of corruption
