NA Speaker Sardar Ayaz & Deputy Speaker Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah extend warm felicitation to newly Elected Iranian President Dr.Masoud Pezeshkian*

Islamabad:  July 2024; Honourable Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and Deputy Speaker National Assembly Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah have extended the heartiest felicitation to newly elected Iranian President Dr.Masoud Pezeshkian. In their congratulatory messages, they expressed their hope that the newly elected president would further cement ties between both brotherly neighbouring nations. They also expressed their hope that the newly elected Iranian President would lead Iran and its people to the path of Prosperity and development.

Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has also said that the strategic geographical position of both countries offers significant opportunities for regional and global connectivity. He underscored that there were untapped potentials that both nations should be explored. The speaker underscored the pivotal role of parliamentary diplomacy in strengthening bilateral relations. He expressed that enhancing people-to-people contacts is pivotal for strengthening ties between both countries. He added, “Enhanced parliament to Parliament contacts are pivotal for achieving the goal of expanded economic cooperation and mutual prosperity.”

Deputy Speaker National Assembly Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah has also said that Pakistan and Iran are bound by historic long religious traditions and values. He said that there was a vast opportunity to expand trade and business ties for mutual development and prosperity.
