Mutual cooperation of Bench & Bar necessary for dispensation of cheaper & prompt justice to masses: CJ BHC

QUETTA: The Chief Justice, Balochistan High Court, Mr. Justice Muhammad Hashim Khan Kakar has stated that it is basic right of every citizen to get cheaper and speedy justice to the masses, for judiciary is making it’s every possible effort. However, for the purpose, the mutual cooperation of Bench and Bar is very necessary, insisted the Chief Justice BHC while addressing the tribal elders, lawyers and government officers during his visit to Loralai, here on Friday.
The Chief Justice BHC visited Loralai along with the judges of High Court, Mr. Justice Abdullah Baloch and Mr. Justice Rozai Khan Baraich, Registrar of High Court, Muhammad Asif Reki, President of Balochistan Bar Association, Muhammad Afzal Advocate, President Quetta Bar Association, Qari Rehmatullah Advocate.
Also present on the occasion were Deputy Commissioner Loralai, Miran Khan Baloch, District and Sessions Judge, Nasir Khan Yousafzai, DIG Police, Nazir Ahmed Kurd, and other concerned officers.
The Chief Justice on the occasion said that judges don’t speak rather their judgments speak. He said that he has tried to resolve the public issues whenever he got the opportunity.
He said that if we consider this land our home then 50 percent issues would be resolved by themselves.
He said that High court circuit bend is working through video link in Loralai, however, land has been allotted for establishing permanent bench. On this land, work would be started within three months, adding he announced.
The Chief Justice said that we would not be interfering in any institution’s jurisdiction, however, correct verdict has been passed where there, the basic rights of people are violated.
He also asserted that no compromise would be made on interests of the province.
Meanwhile, Justice Hashim Kakar announced to start classes of law in the Loralai University, establish bar room in the sessions court and cafeteria besides starting digital library.
Earlier, the Chief Justice High Court was presented guard of honour by the police contingent.
He also visited the site allocated for the circuit bench of High court in Loralai.
