Quetta, August 5: A rally was held on August 5 to mark Kashmir Exploitation Day, led by Muslim League (N) MPA and Parliamentary Secretary for Social Welfare Haji Wali Muhammad Noorzai. The rally started from Spini Road and was attended by hundreds of people. It passed through various roads and ended at the DC Office Quetta, where Parliamentary Secretary Haji Wali Muhammad Khan Noorzai addressed the crowd.
He said that the Indian government’s actions in Kashmir are a continuation of the oppressive policies of the past 77 years, denying the fundamental rights of the Kashmiri people. He quoted Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, who called Kashmir the “jugular vein” of Pakistan, and emphasized that Pakistan will continue to support the Kashmiri people morally until they achieve freedom.
A minute of silence was observed to express solidarity with the Kashmiri people. Noorzai urged the international community to take notice of India’s brutal occupation of Kashmir, the abrogation of Article 370 and 35A, and the human rights violations in the region. He expressed solidarity with the Kashmiri people and reiterated Pakistan’s support for their struggle for freedom.
