SWAT, (independent Report) – Federal Minister for States and Frontier Regions and Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan Affairs, Engr Amir Muqam, stressed the vital importance of the bench and bar in ensuring the swift delivery of justice to litigants and the prosperity of democracy in Pakistan. Speaking at the oath-taking ceremony of the Tehsil Bars of Chakdara and Poran at Malam Jabba on the second day of Eidul Azha, Muqam urged lawyers to prioritize the nation’s interests over individual gain, leveraging their profession for the betterment of the country and the masses. He reminded the legal fraternity that they played a pivotal role in the creation of Pakistan and were duty-bound to protect its interests. Muqam also highlighted the government’s notable achievements in curbing inflation, price hikes, and stabilizing the economy, which he said were opposed by certain elements.
