Motorway Police Launch Successful Campaign Against Overcharging and Overloading on Eid ul Adha

Lahore: The Motorway Police have launched a successful campaign against overcharging and overloading on the occasion of Eid ul Adha. According to DIG Shahid Javed, the Motorway Police have taken action against transporters who were overcharging passengers and overloaded vehicles. The Motorway Police Central Zone carried out operations from Lahore to Sadqabad and fined over 9 lakh passengers who were overcharged. Additionally, 741 public service vehicles were fined for overcharging, and 2800 vehicles were fined for overloading. The Motorway Police have taken strict action against transporters who were found guilty of overcharging and overloading. DIG Shahid Javed said that the safety and security of passengers is their top priority.
