More than 200 police officers and officials of Punjab Police revealed to be facilitators of drug dealers.

ISLAMABAD – More than 200 police officers and personnel have been revealed to be facilitators of drug dealers in Punjab.
The report prepared by the surveillance branch of the Punjab Police was sent to the higher authorities. According to the report, the names of 234 police officers and officials of 10 districts of the province including Lahore are included in it.
According to the report, 30 police officers of Lahore are facilitators of drug dealers, 35 cases have been registered against them.
According to the report, 62 police employees of Faisalabad are involved in facilitating drug trafficking.
According to the report, officials involved in drug trafficking are posted as sub-inspectors and in different police stations.
According to the report, ASI and constables and drivers of various police stations are also involved in drug peddling.
According to the report, only 2 officials involved in facilitating drug dealers are in jail. The report also includes the details of the related drug peddling gangs of the policemen.
According to the authorities, the details of drugs like hashish, heroin, ice and crystal powder have also been made a part of the report.
