Monsoon Rains Hit Nasirabad Division, Provincial Minister Takes Emergency Measures

Nasirabad, August 3, 2024: Monsoon rains have started in the districts of Nasirabad, Jaffarabad, Usta Muhammad, and Sohbatpur in Nasirabad Division. Provincial Minister for Irrigation, Mir Sadique Umrani, has deployed heavy machinery and staff of the Irrigation Drainage System to various locations in the division to deal with the emergency situation. The minister is taking all possible measures to ensure the safety of life and property.

The situation is currently under control, and the provincial minister is closely monitoring the situation. The provincial minister has canceled the leaves of all staff and officers of the Irrigation Drainage Department and ensured their presence at their place of posting. Secretary Irrigation, Hafiz Abdul Majid, is taking measures in the best interest of the people of Nasirabad Division in light of the instructions of the provincial minister. However, the Irrigation Department is facing a shortage of funds and machinery due to the emergency situation.
