QUETTA: The caretaker Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Ali Mardan Khan Domki has stated that the modern technical educational institutions operating in the province would be made more effective with cooperation of federal government.
He said that the measures are being taken to produce skilled human force according to the demand of market.
This was shared by the Chief Minister while speaking to the caretaker Federal Minister for Education, Madad Ali Sindhi who called on him here at the CM’s secretariat on Thursday.
During the course of meeting, the matters pertaining to promotion of education, technical and vocational training, opportunities available for the same, besides the financial issues facing the public sector universities of the province were discussed.
The Federal Minister Education informed the Chief Minister about the ongoing programmes of institutions established for technical education with cooperation of federal government.
Also present on the occasion were Minister Finance and Revenue, Amjad Rsaheed, and other concerned high ups of federal and provincial governments.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that the provincial government would take special measures for resolving the issues being faced by the universities of the province with cooperation of the federal government.
In addition to this, the technical training institutions would also be made more effective so as to impart technical training to the youth in an effective manner, he added.
Speaking on the occasion, the caretaker Federal Minister Education said that representation of all the provinces would be ensured in administrative affairs of the federal institutions.
He said that Rs. 117 million have been allocated for nursing and culture sectors in Balochistan.
Referring the issues of public sector universities, the Minister Education assured that the matter would be taken up with the Chairman Higher Education Commission to resolve the issues of the universities.
