Jasqam Ghotki’s protest against FFC administration’s act of not providing employment to local people, demand to provide employment to local people, otherwise Deputy Commissioner Ghotki on October 5. Announcement to return outside the office
According to the details, on the call of Jasqam yesterday, political and social organizations held a protest against the FFC of district Ghotki industrial organization of not giving employment to the local people and spoke to the media. While talking, Faqir Ramzan Kalwar, PPP Shaheed Bhutto’s leader Jalal Bozdar and others said that the FFC administration has already closed the doors of employment for the local people, now the FFC administration has given one month’s annual salary. In the shutdown due to this, local people have been ignored and people from other provinces have been recruited, which is cruel. On the other hand, in this regard, the press spokesperson of the FFC administration has said while talking to the media that for the shutdown that started on October 2 in FFC Mirpur Mathelo, forty percent skilled and 100% unskilled local people have been included.Employment and relief to local people is our top priority. He further said that 28 percent of the skilled people who have experience in opening the plant have been hired, similarly 60 percent of the skilled people have been added through contractors. The company gets more benefit by hiring the technical staff because the management has to bear the food and accommodation expenses of the technical staff who are brought from outside due to compulsion, which makes the factory management to bear the extra cost of these people compared to the local people. It has to be done, Fauji Fertilizers is the only organization in district Ghotki which has always been at the forefront in providing relief to the local people. While the construction of more than one hundred houses for the rehabilitation of the victims has been completed, the keys have been handed over to the house owners and the series of welfare works continues.
